Obama is holding his own, Biden is on his game, the rest of them just simply suck, and it is scary to think that anyone would vote for Hillary, Kucinich, Richardson or anyone other than Obama, Biden, and Edwards who are holding their own quite well. I am done.

K, let us look at health care.. I would like this too, except I do not want one as the one in Canada.. I do not want to wait, while sick, for 8 hours for the doctor! Do you? National Health Care needs to be looked at.. but it should be implemented with extreme caution. We MUST lean, as much as possible, away from Communism! We should not force national care on anyone! We do not need Hillary because of how she speaks on family! It does not support a local and immediate family, but a National or community family! This is Communism! This is how one gains control of the family and government should have the least of control with the immediate family! Let's look at facts. You want money to pay for health and insurance? Tell the Feds that you want a straight 10% tax! It was already admitted it would work! You keep what.. are u middle-class? You would save 30% of your wage! That can buy the best of both.. But Democrats do not support it.. they want bigger Federal control and more tax! You pay about 38% in taxes as a middle-class. You want more tax and less freedom, vote Democrat, as they admitted, yet would not support... You want to support your local MOB? They have been connected to it for many years! Your choice. Truth hurts! Earl

I think the era of the one-issue voting is passed. The world has gotten way too complicated to base a decision solely on one issue. I know there are people who will argue that if someone cannot stand firmly on life (or choice), how will they stand on anything else. I understand the reasoning, but I don't share it.

He has never voted to raise taxes.
He has never voted for an unbalanced budget.
He has never voted for a federal restriction on gun ownership.
He has never voted to raise congressional pay.
He has never taken a government-paid junket.
He has never voted to increase the power of the executive branch.

He voted against the Patriot Act.
He voted against regulating the Internet.
He voted against the Iraq war.

He does not participate in the lucrative congressional pension program.
He returns a portion of his annual congressional office budget to the U.S. treasury every year.

If you're willing to look at this from another perspective, check out http://minnesota.publicradio.org/projects/ongoing/select_a_candidate/poll.php?race_id=13
You answer questions about how you feel on all the issues, and then it compares your opinions to the candidates. It's free and quite interesting.

I feel that Ron Paul would make a very good president.
His foreign policy is very smart. It would help our relations with other countries.
Ron Paul wants to get us out of Iraq and the 130+ nations that we have military stationed in. These countries definitely do not feel too strongly about us at this point. He is NOT an isolationist, and anybody who considers him to be is just uneducated.

Ron Paul is the only one who has a consistent, 30-year voting record to back up every stance he has ever taken. He also has introduced a number of bills which prove his positions.

All the other candidates are all talk, no action. Ron Paul has already done stuff without even being elected president. The other candidates are all waiting to be elected to actually start anything.

I would NOT vote for McCain, Romney, Clinton, Obama or Huckabee. McCain wants to stay in Iraq for a 100 years if need be, Romney doesn't have what it takes to run a country(not to mention his extreme flip-flopping), Clinton wants to control every aspect of our lives(and tax the hell out of us as well). Obama wants universal health care, which in reality never turns out as good as it's supposed to be. He's not really experienced either. Huckabee wants to stay in Iraq, but if he were the Republican nominee, I might vote for him.

I really could write you a book about why I would vote for Ron Paul and why I wouldn't vote for any of the other candidates, but those are the main reasons.
