In the United States alone, the prices of the health care of the ordinary American people will increase for up to 7.6%, this is due to the fact that the prices of the prescription drugs that the big and commercial pharmaceutical companies are selling on the market today have been on the constant rise as well. One statistics provide an index of the basic elements and medical expenses of the families. According to one study, the price of family health care which also includes the premiums that a family has to pay will increase up to less than $16,000 a year. It is also expected that the prices of the medical services, such as the inpatient and outpatient services, will increase by more than 10 percent in the next years to come.
Family health care is one facet of health care program that tackles different and major facets of health in different phases of human life – from the time a human being is formed in the womb up to elderly stage. As human being age, they become more susceptible to certain kinds of diseases. Because of this factor, you will need different kinds of health care as a result. The most common threats to human health as they age includes the certain types of cancer, heart diseases; accidents and predisposition to various kinds of infections are also considered the major threats to health of aging people.
On the other hand, you can still do something to diminish the danger of any infirmity and even untimely demise that you might encounter along the way as you traverse the course of different phases of life by living an active way of life. Family health care program usually provides proper immunization not only to the infants but to older ones as well. Early identification and treatment of the disease is only possible if an appropriate screening of malady is performed early on.
Family health care not only provides the knowledge how to administer certain kinds of drugs and takes care of someone when they are sick; this program also teaches people how to become responsible person when it comes to taking care of their health. Family health care is very important because it takes care of you and your family from early stage of life up to old age, that’s why it is sensible that any family should avail of family health care insurance as this will cover all the members of your family.
Do not wait for something terrible to happen to your family before you avail of a family health care insurance because as you might know, the prices of medical services nowadays is skyrocketing already. Taking actions on your own hand will save you a lot of trouble in the future; do not depend on your employer to pay for your family health care insurance because nowadays there are a number of corporations that do not provide medical reimbursement for their workers. Family health care insurance will help you in case of any medical emergency therefore relieving you of potential stress of expensive health cost.
Here this nice Video about health care
Hear how Barack Obama’s healthcare plans will impact the lives of ordinary Americans like you. (Music by Great Life Music)
maybe if starbucks GAVE them more then 20 hours a week they would work more than 20 hours a week. if you actually paid attention to what they are saying, you would know they WANT more hours, this is just all Starbucks will give them b/c they want to keep people from having insurance.
it’s even wore now b/c the new policy is that employees have to be available 80 hours a week or so to even keep their jobs (not get laid off), yet they have no guaranteed hours. So, they can’t get another job and lose their availability, but they can’t be sure they’ll be able to pay their bills cause they don’t actually know how much they’ll work.
Just because this is the way it is everywhere does not mean this is how it should be.
They have a 100 percent covered plan for them and their families for life (assuming they serve at least 6 years), along with an excellent pension plan for life.
They will care about the crisis if it is something the voters want! After all, if they are not acting in the interest of the voters, they will lose their seat and their health care plan.
Unfortunately, there is so much disagreement between the "left" and the "right" that it is difficult for congress to do anything. In addition, many people (even those who truly need health care reforms) vote based on moral values, leaving health care to be ignored.
Okay if you won't have any clinical skills or any managerial/administration skills, just what will you do? You'll have a lot of knowledge but nothing to do with it.
Amazing. Nursing is like the best profession out there. There are so many sub-specialties in all professional areas.
There are about 100 different nursing specialties. See below for the list. I know that doesn't completely answer you question, but the list can give you some ideas. Research, for instance, or Business Administration, There the CSI angle, but the TV show seems to make it more glamorous than it probably really is. Then there are legal nurse consultants.

I was talking about you tagging me!…but anyways. I know what NWO is but thanks for explaining. I am just saying that healthcare is a right, to me of course. There are people who cannot afford to have healthcare. Coz there are some serious deep loopholes in this system. I see where you are coming from and I respect your point of view. In my opinion, government has to provide affordable healthcare… Especially when I think how advanced U.S. is in hightech. U.S. has to lead as an example.
20 HOURS A WEEK? lol stop complaining, you need to be working more than 20 hours a week to begin with.
I don’t tag people, people tag themselves.
Obama is all for universal health care, not just a national health care. Which is world wide. As well as he is for a one money system.
That my friend is just part of the NWO. So
Any part of a health care plan other than you paying for it yourself is part of the NWO.
It not the job of the nation or the world to worry about your health care.
Clever: I DID go to college full-time and worked a full-time job during the day, then went to work again after I got out of class at night. I also worked another job on weekends. At any given time I was working 2 to 3 jobs, attending college full-time, and caring for a household as well as being a single mother trying to support a child b/c the birth father refused to help w/anything. He left & filed for divorce when she was 10mos old. Now he’s the one w/the tanked life. I did this for 7+yrs.
Fulcanellius: I honestly don’t see the downside. I could easily live with that. At least I would never have to fear my DH would die b/c we were not able to afford something so life-saving such as insulin or test-strips to check his sugar levels to adj his insulins accordingly. Plus, I wouldn’t have to worry about my lieaving him a widower & making our child an orphan b/c I’m already disabled & must take some 28 diff meds to function & slow the progression of the disease. I’d gladly pay $98mo.
It doesn't fail, almost every first world country has it setup as a system.
Unless of course you view treatment of the poorer people a failure.
The benefit to not treating a lot of people, is faster care for the wealthy.
If you don't want to have universal health care, the government can step in and price fix medical procedures like they do in japan. It works okay for them. They can afford adequate medical treatment because the government forces it to be affordable, and the same prices in rural as in urban areas.
The real problem with our system, coming from someone who has an entire family in medicine (Doctors, surgeons, nurses)…is the insurance companies. They buffer every side. The doctors, the hospital, the patients, everyone has to get insurance, and they are the ones forcing prices higher and higher.
OMG…NO!!!!!!!!!
it’s hilarious to watch this video after seeing the destroyed afghanistan family videos
spoiled american bitch
Well you put healthcare and buying a car on the same scale… I have nothing else to say. Have a good one
Why are not the goverment paying for all helth care expences? You are after all paying taxes…
This is becoming very common. A nation of part time workers without real access to benefits. Industry just externalizes its costs to society and now this guy, who doesn’t have insurance owes thousands to health care providers he may never be able to pay back and has no coverage. Where is all the “choice” the health insurance companies say people have?
Fulcan: It’s not much. Even with us living just on my SSDI now, I’d still take the $98 a month if it meant both DH and I could continue receiving the life-saving meds that keep us from leaving our daughter an orphan. He can’t work & can’t work either. He’s thinking of trying to work anyhow but if he does, the next heart attack could kill him. He was previously healthy, worked in same business type for almost 30yrs now.. We pay taxes and get nothing in return. At least w/ a bit extra you get ins.
Yet this wreched company has the audacity to send tons of money to Planned Parenthood to help the execute children. Yeah, that there is priorities in the right place.
Miserable company with a terrible product.
Just stop supporting them, spend your money elsewhere.
Their coffee and pastries are over priced and suck!
If you have a really good health food store with knowledgeable people I would ask who they might know or suggest. Also the Internet site www. alternative medicine for Maine would hopefully give some info. Good Luck
This is just silly. boo hoo. You worked 20 hours a week, you’re lucky you had an option to get healthcare. What this guy is saying is true for just about every company. I’ve worked in a few chain retail stores in my day, trust me, they were no different. What do you do when you are unhappy at a crap job? You go elsewhere.
The US government was never put in place to cover the people with health care. other wise the founding father would have wrote it in the the constitution.
yes it is a right, a right that if you want it, you can buy it. Just like a car. Everyone needs a car but it’s up to you to buy one. Don’t come to the nation to buy you one. same as for a home everyone needs one, ect…
The governmnet roll has need to buy what you couyld have bougt yourself.
It’s amazing to me to hear and read all these health care coverage problems!

~~This is a mute point because Nationalized insurance is not in the works. All the government is proposing is an alternative for people who can't get employer based insurance to be able to buy directly from the same insurance that senators and congressmen get. Otherwise, business as usual for private insurance companies.~~
Sukmi: Thx for the boycott even tho your country cares about its citizens enough to ins you; Kudos go out to you. I boycotted 2 when learning of treatment of employees. DH bought me a Silvia/Rocky espres/grinder so I make espresso @ home; I bought him a French Press since he don’t like lattes/cappas. He drinks reg. I roast my beans to keep fresh ones then grind 4 his French Press coffee & grind again for my latte/cappas @ diff grinds of course. espresso is really fine whereas FP is course grind.
In any plan made by Clinton the only financial incentives are to put money in her personal bank account.
Remember the Pig? Brew your own coffee’s!
You need to talk with a local agent that works with all of the major companies in your area. Insurance companies and the plans they offer will vary from state to state and the premium with any one plan can vary by zip code.
At 22 if you are in good health you should be able to find a catastrophic plan for less than $100 in most states and a comprehensive plan shouldn't be much more than $100.
The agent will be able to explain what you need to know – there is not enough space here to tell you everything. You'll need to know about the deductible, the co-insurance, the co-pays and what is covered with the co-pay, what procedures are and are not subject to the deductible, what is excluded from the plans, which doctors accept the plans, the different types of plans and how they operate, the prescription coverage if any, and much more. There is no extra charge using an agent.
Sad story indeed, but you have and are trying. But there are millions that don’t even try.Are not willing to commit themselves to anything.Turn to the people and beg for everything in life. As well as there are millions that don’t get or don’t want the chance to go to college. But did you take something that will allow you to work or something that’s no more than a hobby. Here’s what doesn’t pay very much in life,Freelance writer/novelist, beta tester, medical transcriptionist and ceramics(pottery).
just because it is a certain way in your area does not mean that it is that way everywhere. for all you know other stores already had too much staff in his area. maybe the managers were encouraged to cut hours by their higher-ups. maybe he didn’t have vacation time to use. don’t assume that just because it is one way for you that it is the same for everyone else.
My DH went to college too as did I but neither of us qualified for the insurance plans offered because of pre-existing conditions. So no, affordable insurance policies or rather insurance policies in general are not just falling off trees making themselves available….
People can afford everything they want but nothing of what they need.
Take care of the needs and drop all the cell phone and i-pod and B/S they don’t need in life, then even the poorest of people can afford health care.
Angle: Not sure exactly what you’re trying to say there slick. You lost me toward the end. If you’re wondering why I’m not working today it’s because of a retinal disease that deteriorates my vision (legally blind by SSA standards; need guide, cane, or guide dog to go anywhere outside of home. I write freelance & make pottery to supplement SSDI when I’m able to do so b/c of SLE (lupus) & Sjogren’s disease complicating the vision loss & joint disease & other equally significant problems.
Here's something to think about: according to the census bureau, of the 47 million or so that are uninsured almost 10 million are illegal immigrants, 8 million make over 75,000 a year, another 8 million make over 50,000 a year, and 14 million qualify for medic-aid or medicare but do not apply. Hmmm. makes you think that maybe our system isn't so bad after all. So Obama needs to quit with his fear mongering and quit lying to us. There are a lot of unemployed, but 47 million is very misleading. Give us a real number!
Also the idea is that by giving health care to everyone, businesses don't have to pay for it, and then they can give more jobs, increase profit, and help the economy. Which sounds great, if you're stupid. Since Universal health care is insanely expensive, guess who pays for it? raised taxes on business and on the rich, (and apparently companies that aren't green). So it's basically a beat-around the the bush way to distribute wealth. And ask yourself this? Is it a good idea to take from from the rich? Take money from a poor man, and he becomes poorer, take money from a rich man, and he goes to work and fires his workers. So which is worse? MAYBE GOVERNMENT JUST SHOULDN'T TAKE PEOPLES MONEY!
