A Minnesota Health Care Directive typically does not empower a health care agent to act on behalf of the principle until the principal lacks capacity to make those decisions. That is why it is a good idea to include specific language within the Health Care Directive that addresses this issue. Minnesota Section 145C.08 states that a health care agent acting pursuant to a health care directive has the same authority as the principal to recei (more…)

Isn’t it good health one of our priorities in the family among other things? With that in mind, would not it be very comforting to know also if the community where we live in also promotes public health nursing? Even if your eyebrows meet and your forehead carries a large question mark because you don’t know exactly it means and what it can do to your community, but if you read it between the lines, I am sure you would say yes right away!
