Most people always neglect their mental healths; we are always in line and are concerned with the wounds, diseases, or the physical pain that we encounter. We neglect that aside from our physical health there is also an existing mental health that we have to watch out for.
Mental health diseases of its form are generally curable, but it will take a lot of patience and courage to continue and to ritually take the medications prescribed by the doctor though there are some health supplements that may also help. Aside from the medication that will help us cure the disease, of course factors affecting the mind and the emotions are always there lingering with us, memories that can affect and change the mental status of the person. Rehabilitation therapy is also helpful to resolve this problem and working together with the medication can be a great success.
There are basic symptoms of mental health disorders that can be seen in a person, which if neglected will just result in a serious mental health illness. One of this and the most common form is depression. All of us have experienced depression from different views in life, at the job, family, friends, things, achievements, studies, love life etc. It can be seen at every person to be depressed once at their lives, but depression longer than the usual may be a great sign for a clinical mental disorder. Depression taking minimum of 6 months and taking up to years can be a mental disorder we have to pay attention or else various factors can lead this to irreversible brain malfunction.
Taking a deep and very informative patient and mental health education is a must and is very important to all of us. Not only to know the diseases around it but also for us to know the identifiable factors that we can observe in one person. Let us always remember that whatever your creed, race, sex and nationality you are not immunized and protected against mental health illnesses. So you should be better be aware than sorry. The early the diagnosis of such diseases the good the prognosis is to be able to return to its previous mental health status.
These are such important aspects that we have to take care as with our physical health and should never be out focused and just be ignored.

Find your answer for your own question related to mental health
What mental health services could you benefit from?Hi, I'm conducting an informal survey for mental health services, my question is, if you were to receive counseling or assistance from a mental health services provider, what would you want? For example if you are depressed, what kind of attention/care would you hope to get? I appreciate your time. Thanks!

Things are clearer when viewing events from another perspective – life itself becomes clearer.

The United States has no health care system, it has health corporations, it's part of capitalism, which Americans have bought into. Screw over as many people as you can = get rich. It is like a 275 million person circle jerk. I got out of line years ago. The revolution will not be televised. Gill Scott Heron.

You have some very valid points. Unfortunately, most of medicine today in the U.S. is a capitalistic venture. Meaning, if you can't make money, it doesn't pay. The business of medicine is to keep people sick !
Try to find a good discussion group that is moderated by a psychologist or certified social worker. These people are not licensed to prescribe meds, so they are out of the capitalization loop. I'm not saying all psychiatrists are out to just write a 'script and send you on your way, its just writing a 'script is a real easy way out and too many people today are too lazy to care or listen.
Good luck
ehhhh i don’t know which one i am
i try 3
holy yes yes your going to send i kife to me to kill everyone ?ok
Unfortunately, you already know what you will most likely have to do- which is arrange for alternate child care. You might make some arrangements and let grandma know that if the situation doesn't rapidly improve then she will not be watching the grandchild anymore. Then of course, you will have to be prepared to follow through with that. Sometimes you do have to put things bluntly. I'd explain to her that she has had a life and can therefore chose the complications that uncontrolled diabetes brings. She doesn't have the right to endanger the grandchild by indulging him in the treats that she knows are not good for him. And that is what she is doing, endangering him. If this were drugs instead of sugar, would you be hesistating? This is in much the same line. Chances are not good she is going to change her habits, nor become more responsible though. And if she will not do it for herself, she's not any more likely to do it for him either. What an adult chooses to risk is one thing, what they choose to risk with a child is a whole other subject. So, you must choose to protect the child from himself and grandma if it comes to that. It is ultimately your responsibility, actually it is the parent's responsibility- but I assume you are taking on the role of parent here. And sometimes as parents, we are faced with making the tough choices out of love. Perhaps when she realizes her behavior is limiting her time with the grandchild, she may change her ways. I wouldn't count on it, but it is still possible. Sometimes we need the boot in the rear to get our heads on straight.
Take this advice and use it…Do not look to others to make you happy. No one can make you feel inferior if you do not let them.
Okay, look at all these problems that you talked about. Are you allowing these problems…If you want nice surrounding go search for them. Weight loss, cut out or limit, sugar, starch, white bread cheese and pasta. Ice milk not ice cream. Eat only recommended portions, Drink a glass of water before a meal – this helps you become full if over eating is a problem, the weight will come off. (I know!)
Do this; take paper and write down what you want to change. now look at this list, choose one thing, most obtainable, or most desired – DO NOT TACKLE THIS ENTIRE LIST, only one thing. Now, You, make this a reality.. remember, losing weight is not instant results, moving to a different neighbor hood IS.
With that said, make things happen for yourself, All that you want will not just automatically happen. Make your self comfortable and some of this pent up rage will go away… HONEST!
BEST OF LUCK to You.

Weight loss demons are from the same class of mythical beings as the belly button lint fairy (the fairy that puts the grey/blue lint in your belly button, regardless of the shirt colour your wearing) and the spew carrot fairy (the fairy that puts carrots in your vomit regardless of what you've eaten). Also see poo corn fairy.

Depression is a serious condition; and studies show that everybody all over the world experience it. It affects people of all ages, race, cultures and social status. I heard that 4 out of 10 people suffer from it at some point or another in their life.
From what you wrote, I think your hunch is right. Just to make sure, though, I would ask you to read more about depression and its symptoms.
Personally, it does sound like your husband has some of the classical ones, by the way…Insomnia, weight loss, sadness, the feeling of "numbness" all spell out danger and problems. Please do not ignore these red flags. Your husband is ill….but he is in denial.
The sad part here is that many times the sick person- your husband, in this case- is unwilling to accept he has a serious problem…and he won't get any better if he doesn't seek help. He needs to see his doctor and he needs to start taking anti-depressants as well. (Anti-depressants take about two weeks to start to kick in.)
See if you can talk to him …or have his family join you and tell him that he needs to get professional help and meds. He shouldn't feel guilty or bad about this…Depression is an illness; and many times it happens because our brains have some kind of chemical unbalance.
Take care of yourself. Be careful….Living with a depressed person is tough. But living with a depressed person who refuses to get help in order to get better is even sadder and more stressful!
Good luck. Remember…You can take the water to the drinking hole; but you cannot make it drink.
I used to work as a production manager for several television shows. Talk about pulling 20 hours a day for several days!
It was a fun and challenging job. However, the stress was still there due to crazy hours and a very screwed up and illogical boss that pulled tantrums out of nowhere. I finally got over that deal and went to do a lesser position in another company. All just to get away from the stress. It was one of the nicest decisions I 've made!
So don't feel bad about what you want to do. You may take a hit on your paycheck but the health benefits will be much greater. When you are young, you do not feel the health issues. However, after a few years, you will notice the toll it takes and you might not came back again to how you used to be health wise.
So IMHO, screw the job and whomever says anything. Get yourself a job that wont screw your health. Trust me.
Good Luck!
